Universality

Many existing applications and development tools work with dbBridge. As well, dbBridge works with a wide range of databases.

Some of your custom applications may already work well with dbBridge; others can often be updated quickly and easily by the software developer to work with dbBridge.

Mobility

Applications using dbBridge redefine "keeping in touch". 

  • From a conference room thousands of miles away, a Sales Manager can access corporate data for analytical, reporting, drill down or presentation purposes.

For example, a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation containing embedded Excel spreadsheets that graphically display financial information can be updated to display the most current results, at the click of a button.

  • Out in the field, account representatives can access customer account information or up to the minute inventory levels, as if it was on a server in the next room.

Zero configuration

dbBridge itself, requires no user training and, once installed, it runs transparently, requiring virtually no instructions from the user. Installation itself is an automatic process. After installation, the user need only set a couple of properties to get going. 

At the client side, the dbBridge Client software is comprised of only one, small 600k application that starts and stops automatically.
