Beginning
in 1998 with the introduction of dbOvernet and with the introduction of
dbBridge in 2001, the Company’s goal is to empower
the small and medium sized enterprise to compete in an
increasingly competitive business climate.
Where
the first product, dbOvernet, is a multi-tier development tool for a
specialized developer community, dbBridge expands the multi-tier functionality to a world market by
enabling many of the worlds leading software applications and development
tools to achieve
similar results.
DbBridge
enables remote and mobile workers to access disparate corporate databases,
over the Internet, from anywhere in the world, at any time.
The
concept is Universal Remote Database Connectivity – connecting
remote users to databases over wide or local area networks, intranets and
particularly, the Internet.
Desktop
application and developer tools like Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, MS Excel, Visual
C++, MS Office 2000, Visual FoxPro, Lotus 1.2.3., C++ Builder, Delphi,
Crystal Reports and many more can now connect from anywhere to
centrally-located databases to retrieve and update data, using the Internet as a
virtual database network.
Since
the development of its initial product, dbOvernet, the Company has been fortunate to provide
solutions to several enterprises including: Fuji/Xerox, Sprint US, Bank
of America (NationsBank), 7-Eleven, The US Postal Service, The US Federal
Courts and several others.
